Year 4 Rugby Mega Fest

Letter Writing to Mrs Brown!

On Monday, Year 3 received a letter from an old lady named Mrs Brown. She had found some strange objects in her garden, such as flints and broken pottery, and wrote to us for some help and advice with what to do with them. She had heard that we have been learning about how archaeologists find out about the past, and had lots of questions for us! We wrote letters back to Mrs Brown today and Miss Sutcliffe is going to post them off to Mrs Brown tonight! We suggested that these objects were from the Stone Age and advised her to keep the artefacts in clear, plastic bags and not to clean them as they are very fragile and delicate.
