Today, Year 2 visited The Centre for Life as part of their science topic – Forces.
They took part in a ‘push and pull’ workshop and had to discuss why we need to push some objects and pull others. They also talked about what different science vocabulary words meant such as, gravity and friction.
We went inside the planetarium where we were able to relax for 10 minutes looking at the stars.
The children were also able to explore in the origin and experiment section of the centre.
As a treat, the children were able to play and explore in the toy section of the centre. They were able to colour in, make jigsaws, build models, as well as lots of other fun things!
The children had a fantastic time and have already asked when we could visit again!
