In Literacy, we have been reading Roald Dahl’s book ‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’. We have been writing our own recipes for the medicine and today we made our very own Marvellous Medicine!
There were lots of ingredients in our medicine. We included the following: cow pills, pig pills, nail varnish, curry powder, shaving foam, engine oil, mustard, sheepdip, shoe polish, shampoo and chilli sauce. Ergh!
We used our knowledge of ‘bossy’ verbs to give instructions to each person that was putting an ingredient into the pan.
Most children thought the medicine looked disgusting! Although, there were a few children who did say they wanted to try the medicine! Ergh!
