Yesterday we had an exciting afternoon in Year 3 when Stone Age Jo popped in to tell us how life was for Stone Age people.
The workshop was part of our History topic ‘Tribal Tales’ looking at life in the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age.
Jo brought lots of interesting Stone Age artifacts with her such as flint daggers, clay pots, deer skin shoes and necklaces made from animals’ teeth. She taught us how to make cave paintings, with our fingers, using powdered earth and rock mixed with water. We also played games to find out what Stone Age people used to eat and had a look at how they lived in their caves and huts.
We had great fun and found out so many new things about the Stone Age!
