This morning, Year 2 joined Year 3 to take part in a Cooking 4 Life ‘Healthy Packed Lunch’ workshop. We learnt how to cook some delicious pasta salad using lots of healthy vegetables, and talked about the importance of healthy eating. We looked closely at the Eat Well balanced plate and found out about the different food groups such as proteins, carbohydrates and dairy. Then we sorted food into healthy and unhealthy packed lunches!
