As part of our Science week, we had a chance to explore our environment and have some great fun in a forest school lesson. Our children loved the activities we had set for our outdoor lesson. They attempted to navigate the blackout line with their eyes closed and followed this up completing a nature portrait. Our lesson then came to a great group activity called ‘spider’s web’ where Year 4 needed to navigate the spider’s web without touching the tricky boarders. This proved to be very challenging as the lower spider holes became redundant and only higher holes could be used to navigate through the task. Take a look at our video below which shows a glimpse at this exciting forest school afternoon.
