In our History lessons we have been learning about life in the past and explored areas such as home life, school life and toys. Last week we visited Beamish Museum to get a real feel of what life was like living in the past. We completed a toys workshop in the pit cottages and found out exactly what we would receive at Christmas if we were living in the past. We also visited the old school and discussed the similarities and differences between our school now and schools in the past. As part of our Design and Technology lessons we have been researching and building Victorian cars so whilst we were at Beamish we visited the garage to discuss the familiar features that we could spot. After a very busy and exciting day, we walked through the snow to go and see Santa Claus and his reindeer. Good news, Santa told us we were all on the good list.
This week we have been part of our school nativity performance as the wise men. We hope you enjoyed our performance.
