As part of our Science topic on Habitats ,Year 4 went to Washington Wetlands Trust.They got up close and personal with rare and exotic birds,mammals and different wetland habitats.They toured the duckery and went on a bug hunt.Next they watched the short haired asian otters being fed their lunch of fish and crabs.They were wowed by the pink flamingoes and the black swans.Finally they went pond dipping and found lots of different species including the top predator in the pond, a diving beetle.
