This morning our Leading Lights led today’s worship on the theme of ‘Belonging’. They discussed a story about problems which were being experienced by the church 200 years ago in Corinth, which is now in Greece. The people there found it hard to work together, listen and learn from each other. When they went to church they were told that God thought of them all as being equal and equally valuable. They were told about what Paul said in the first book of Corinthians of how the human is made up of many parts but together it is one. Following this story and reflection, the people of Corinth began to work together.
