What a fantastic time nursery had at Broom House Farm. We started our day by looking for signs of spring around the farm. In the big field we could hear the birds singing and see all the way to North Yorkshire. We saw a tree in bud and learnt it was a conker tree, it was amazing how sticky the buds felt.

Due to the nature of the farm we were very lucky to herd the sheep into the barn. Whilst we were there we were lucky enough to see a new born lamb. We were very hands on and collected  apples from the orchard to feed to the pigs and piglets. We also collect eggs from the hens and fed the goats. After lunch we had lots of fun in the adventure woodland. Here we used our problem solving and physical skills to climb up high, complete a obstacle course and balance across boards and beams.

Miss Quinn and Mrs Houston Stewart are extremely proud of the children’s behaviour, staff from the farm also commented on how well behaved the children were.
