We had a wonderful day on Friday last week, developing our ‘Big Local Project’ and creating natural tie-dye. Year 5 loved having a hands on experience and learning about the natural environment and how we can use it to learn new skills in fashion and design. Our creative arts teacher Chris demonstrated an array of different methods to develop our own knowledge.

We look forward to our next session, as we will be discovering how woodwork skills can be used in our school environment to protect natural habitats. Furthermore, we will be joined by a number of Italian students to help us with this project from San Giovanni Bosco School in Thiene. How exciting…
