School Mission Statement

At St. Aidan’s we aim to create a happy, caring environment, where we can all feel safe and valued in order to live and learn as children of God.

In partnership with parents and carers we aim to help and encourage our pupils to:

  • develop the essential skills of English, Maths and Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
  • develop lively and enquiring minds, thinking creatively and critically
  • acquire, develop and apply a broad range of knowledge, understanding and skills
  •  make informed choices for a safe, healthy and active lifestyle
  • develop positive self-esteem, confidence and emotional well-being
  • be respectful of religious and moral values and tolerant of races and religions
  • appreciate the uniqueness of others and treat everyone with consideration and respect

We aim to promote the intellectual, physical, personal, social, emotional, spiritual, moral and cultural development of all pupils and prepare them for the opportunities, experiences and responsibilities of life.
