Welcome to Reception. The teachers in our class are Mr Wallace and Miss Lishman.

Our topic this half term is called “Did Dragon’s exist?” We have been finding out if dragons were real, and discovering all about Knights, Kings, Queens and Castles.

We are currently working on our Nativity play called Robin’s So Excited.

Book week in Reception

Today, we had some very special guests who came in to see the whole school!  They were from seven stories. We talked about book, characters and said lots of funny words. A Visit From Fireman Bri!

On Friday afternoon we had a visit from Fireman Bri, he had come from the fire station to teach us all about fire safety! He taught us what to do if we ever saw a fire and all of the important things we must remember if there is ever a fire at home or school. Fireman Bri brought in his fire suit and even let one of us try it on, he told us that the suits have reflective lights on just like our homework bags so that we can be seen in the dark. We learnt how to stop drop and roll and we watched a fireman sam video! A trip to the Great North Museum

This month Receptions topic is all about dinosaurs. On Friday 16th January, Reception class went on a trip to the Great North Museum.
