Year 1

Miss Heslop, Miss Megson and Mrs Lishman

Welcome to year 1! Our teachers are Miss Heslop, Miss Megson and Mrs Lishman. This term in year 1 we are studying Fjords and will be identifying its physical features to compare with our local area.   We will also be learning about humans and animals and will be looking closely at different parts of our bodies. In Art we will study different types of weather and will produce a final piece in the style of Berndnaut Smilde. We will continue the weather theme in our PE lessons and will create and perform dances to many types of weather music. We have lots of exciting things to look forward to so please visit our page and see what we are up to.
